POST INJECTABLES AFTERCARE

FOR BEST RESULTS, PLEASE FOLLOW THE BELOW GUIDELINES

• Avoid wearing any products on your face (makeup & skin care) for at least 4–12 hours after treatment. After this time, you may return to your regular skincare routine only. Do not introduce any new products for 48 hours. Avoid active ingredients such as retinol, retinoids and tretinoin for 48 hours. These may be gradually reintroduced after 48 hours as tolerated.

• Avoid touching, massaging & applying pressure to the area over the next 48 hours.

• Gentle face washing is ok — no harsh scrubbing, exfoliation, or cleansing devices for 7 days.

• Avoid strenuous activity (2–3 days), saunas & spas (1–2 weeks) to reduce the chance of sweating out the product.

• Post lip (filler) treatments, use only a new lip balm to reduce the likelihood of introducing bacteria and causing infection. Avoid kissing, straws & smoking for 24–48 hours.

• Post volumizing (filler) treatments to other areas of the face, avoid wearing sunglasses, hats or tight headwear where pressure may be applied to the area treated for 48 hours.

• To alleviate swelling, redness & bruising, use an ice pack on the treated area for 5–10 minutes, up to 3–4 times a day.
