PDO or polydioxanone is a safe sugar based suture that can be used to improve the tone, texture and elasticity of skin, resulting in transforming sagging skin to firm and tighter skin, suitable for all ages.
In each thread there are tiny barbs, which when inserted into the skin, the barbs anchor onto sagging tissue and the thread can be maneuverer to readjust them to achieve a youthful and defined appearance.
This low risk and minimally invasive treatment involves
numbing the area being treated for 30 minutes, then multiple threads being inserted to the area of concern, sometimes being hatched or 'criss-crossed' onto each other. Once inserted, the threads provide a tightening effect whilst stimulating our natural collagen production within the skin.
